Four Eyed Monsters DVDs in a box

Repost from Arin and Susan

We’ve got some insiders info for all our friends on MySpace.  We’ve created a DVD of our Feature Film that has crap loads of extras.  Every video we’ve posted online related to our project as well as a some early videos very few people have seen.

So if you never made it to a screening to see our film, or there wasn’t one where you live, or you just want to show our film to friends, here is your chance to become a proud owner of our DVD.

Purchase our DVD from our website.

The DVDs are shipping latter this month and those who order right away will actually get their copy of the DVD a few days before the official ship date.

Then, if you want to be included in a video podcast news update we make to promote the DVD, send us pictures or even video of you getting the DVD from your mail box and adding it to your shelf of DVDs.  Also anything else you can think of that could be interesting would be great too, like some shots of you and your friends watching the DVD or talking about the film afterwards, whatever you’d like.

Other upsides to getting the DVD now:

There will come a time that our DVD will be available on amazon and other sites as well, but right now it’s only available on our own website which is good because all 19.99 of each sale goes to us and when we start releasing the DVD in more places, only half or a quarter or even less will go to us.  Since we are still in major credit card debt and are trying to raise money to make another film, this is a really good way to support our filmmaking as well as help us pay bills so we can keep making video podcasts as well.

So, how about it, you wana order the dvd?

Also, we love hearing from people what they thought of our film, so if you do pick up the DVD, tell us what you thought of it.  Here are some recent highlighted comments:

Carmella said in a myspace comment:
“the film, it was beautiful. pure truth and wonderful expression… thank you for making this film.”
Carrie said in a myspace comment:
“Finally saw the movie last night at IFC…wow…you guys blew me away!! It totally lived up to all the buzz. So innovative and different and also so touching and real. You guys should be really proud. I wish you so much success with distribution. Everyone in the country should see this movie. Congratulations!”
Dan said in a myspace comment:
“I saw the screening last Thursday in LA and loved it! It was very inspiring, not only creatively (as I have been trying to become a screen writer) but also personally. The movie felt very intimate and felt almost like a voyeur, very touching. You guys are amazing to share so much, and do it so well. Thanks.”
Sara said in a myspace message:
“I finally was able to see the film last night in Chicago. Fucking AMAZING. It was everything I ever thought it could possibly be and … wait for it … more. You guys are fantastic, and I am ecstatic that I got to see such a wonderful piece of work”
MissChantel said in a myspace message:
“I TRIED NOT TO HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS OF THE MOVIE SO I WOULDN’T BE DISAPPOINTED, I MUST SAY YOUR FILM EXCEEDED ANY EXPECTATION. I’VE BEEN POSTING BULLETINS IN SUPPORT OF THE FILM AND WHAT YOU GUYS ARE DOING, AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. I BELIEVED IN THE CONCEPT EVEN BEFORE I SAW IT, NOW I’M EVEN MORE EXCITED, YOU’VE PRODUCED SOMETHING GRAND, MONUMENTAL, AND TRUELY INSPIRING. I WANT TO THANK YOU AND SAY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. :)”

If you haven’t looked at our trailer in a while, here it is again:

And now and then we realize that we do have some myspace friends that haven’t seen all of our video podcast.   So here is episode 1 if you need it and the “next” button on the page will take you through all 8 episodes that tell the insane story of having made our film.

So thats it for now, again, can’t stress enough how now would be a really good time to order the dvd and add it to your collection.

Thanks a ton for supporting our film making and please spread the word about our DVD.
